As 2024 draws to a close, we join with you to reflect on the busiest and most challenging year we've ever faced.

Animal admissions doubled this year, especially during kitten season - a season that extended longer than ever before. Thanks to you, the USPCA animal care and veterinary teams cared for these tiny, orphaned kittens suffering from severe cat flu. You helped us rise to a surge in calls for our wildlife rescue service. You stood by us when we cared for so many abandoned dogs, covered in mange and sores.

You've been there for us and we're count on you now to extend your helping hand this Christmas.

You came to the aid of Rosa

Rosa was a Boxer that had suffered unimaginable cruelty and neglect at the hands of a heartless owner that threw her, starved and fragile, from a moving car in Newry. Our team were shocked to see how malnourished she was, and it was evident her little body had been suffering for quite some time.

Amazingly, Rosa quickly trusted our team. As she progressed through her treatment and care plan, she loved to be near us, receiving the love and affection that she’d craved for so long.

Rosa is now living happily with a lovely couple in Northern Ireland. She is their world, and they are hers. Rosa is just one of the animals you gifted with a new life, full of love, care and compassion this year.

We rely entirely on the contributions you gift us. With your help we will stand together for a society where all animals are respected and free of unnecessary suffering. You can be the lifeline that animals like Rosa need in their darkest hour.
